Our local, Competent, Accredited technicians can supply and install the new Fire Extinguishers your property needs and/or keep the ones you already have maintained and Serviced in accordance with BS5306.
The Fire Safety Order 2005 is law in the UK and Wales and sets out that 'Responsible Persons' must ensure that life safety equipment such as Fire Extinguishers are professionally maintained to keep them in good working order though a program of proper maintenance.
Regulations specific to portable fire extinguisher maintenance/servicing (BS5306) require that a Competent Person [a qualified technician] carry out a 'Commissioning Service' when a Fire Extinguisher is first installed and then a 'Routine Service' at once per year.
With a combination of extensive in-house training and external training delivered by IFEDA (the Independent Fire Engineering & Distributors Association) and the FIA (Fire Industry Association) you can be sure that our engineers are not only 'Competent', but experts in their field.
Additionally, as an BAFE SP101 accredited and an NSI Gold accredited organisation, each of our engineers undergo regular external audits to test their knowledge and competence, ensuring these high standards are maintained.
Jackson are also Constructionline Goldaccredited and SafeContractor approved.
Our engineers use award-winning job management software to quickly and accurately record details of every fire extinguisher they supply, commission, and service.
We share inspection reports and certificates via email immediately after your visit. You'll also receive a detailed asset list showing all fire extinguishers inspected.
What's more, our reports clearly indicate whether extinguishers have passed or failed. If we find any failures, we provide transparent explanations of the defects and how to resolve them quickly.

01. How much does Fire Extinguisher Servicing cost?
Your quote will be based on your postcode area and the number of extinguishers needing service. As an example, a visit for Fire Extinguisher Routine Servicing in BR1 with 4 Fire Extinguishers is available from as little as £96 + VAT. There are no hidden extras, we include all small parts like service labels, seals and tamper tags.
02. How quickly can you visit?
We generally book at least a few days in advance, but we'll always do our best to help when you need us sooner. We can sometimes offer same day visits. For urgent requests, please call us on01322 772 003.
03. Can I work with Jackson without a contract?
Yes! We offer our services on a one-off basis a great way to try us without any commitment. We also offer 3 and 5 year Service Plans that include loyalty discounts and locked-in pricing for the entire duration. With a Service Plan, we'll contact you when your fire extinguishers are due for service (so you don't have to remember), and you can pay by Direct Debit to spread the servicing costs into small, manageable payments.
